Frequently Asked Questions
What type of picture should I use?
A picture that has contrast works best. If your photo has only light colors and no distinction, people and objects tend to blur together. The same is true for very dark pictures. If you give us a photo that has a girl with dark hair and the background is also very dark, it may be difficult to see the distinction between her hair and the background.
How do I know which shape would work best with my picture(s)?
If you request a picture shape that does not work well with your photographs, we will contact you and suggest a change. When cropping a picture into a shape, like an oval or a rectangle, try to determine if your subject is too close to the top hinting that too much of your subject may be cropped away if you choose an oval. If the top or bottom of your picture is significant, choose a rectangular shape.
How do I know which color album will work best?
Lavender and Country Blue show the most distinct visual contrast. Engraving pictures on these colors often pick up freckles, dimples and show exquisite detail. Wine and British Tan are very classy, classic colors. Meadow is superb if the picture has enough contrast. Choose Wine, British Tan or Meadow if the picture quality is high, or the picture is a close-up.
How long do orders usually take to ship?
Our orders are usually shipped within 3 days but may take up to two weeks to ship due to high demand of our inventory or picture difficulty.
Is there a minimum frame order for your frame fundraisers?
Yes, there is a 50 frame minimum order. We will specially design a frame for your club, making this fundraiser very appealing to your group and contacts.
